Step‑by‑Step Guide to Paying with M‑Pesa at Aquantuo

  1. Receive Your Invoice

    • Aquantuo sends you a shipping invoice once your package is ready.

    • Payment must be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

  2. Open M‑Pesa Menu

    • On your Safaricom line, go to M‑Pesa → Lipa na M‑Pesa.

  3. Choose PayBill or Buy Goods

    • Aquantuo provides either a PayBill number or a Till number (depending on the branch or service).

    • Enter the number exactly as given on your invoice or Aquantuo’s payment instructions.

  4. Enter Account Number / Reference

    • Use the invoice number or your Aquantuo customer ID as the account/reference field.

  5. Enter Amount

    • Pay the full invoice amount or at least 70% upfront.

    • Remaining 30% must be cleared within 7 days after your package arrives at the destination.

  6. Confirm & Send

    • Double‑check details and confirm payment.

    • You’ll receive an M‑Pesa confirmation SMS and Aquantuo will also register the payment.

 

📌 Important Notes

  • Payment Deadline: If you don’t pay within 7 days, Aquantuo charges storage fees (about $1–$2 per kg per day depending on package size).

  • Accepted Methods: Besides M‑Pesa, Aquantuo also accepts card payments and bank transfers.

  • Partial Payment Option: You can pay 70% upfront and settle the balance later, but shipping only proceeds after the initial payment.

 

⚠️ Risks & Tips

  • Always confirm the official PayBill/Till number directly from Aquantuo’s invoice or customer service to avoid fraud.

  • Keep your M‑Pesa confirmation SMS as proof of payment.

  • Plan payments early to avoid storage fees and delays in shipping.
